Anthropic launches Claude Science for research workflows

Anthropic released Claude Science, a specialized version of Claude designed to help researchers with scientific work. The tool targets a specific use case—literature review, data analysis, hypothesis formation—rather than competing as a general-purpose AI. For indie researchers and bootstrapped biotech/science projects, it could lower the cost of hiring domain expertise.
